My second project with the wonderful George Saumarez Smith, this book of his architectural drawings and his philosophy has proved hugely popular.

The look we were going for is something similar to eighteenth-century architectural treatises and it makes great use of white space to give emphasis to the quality of the drawings, which have extra three-dimensionality thanks to the use of duotone reproduction.

The cover is hand-drawn by the author himself. The final book being a papernack with a coloured card cover and large flaps to give it extra weight.
